Launched last spring, the concept of the “Vallée de la Gastronomie” proposes a gourmet trip extending from Dijon to Marseille, including Lyon. Covering over 600 kilometres, this new tourist concept gives pride of place to French terroirs reputed for their gastronomy.
Centred around three regions, including Bourgogne Franche-Comté, focus is placed on restaurateurs, artisans and Burgundy producers. An ideal opportunity for French and foreign tourists to encounter these remarkable people and discover, or rediscover, the multitude of culinary treasures of Burgundy.
The many Gourmet Offers and Remarkable Experiences proposed by the “Vallée de la Gastronomie” in Burgundy include a visit to the Mulot et Petitjean pain d’épice manufacture in Dijon, or that of Les Anis de Flavigny, a demonstration of truffle hunting (cavage) at the Maison aux Milles Truffes by l’Or des Valois, a visit to the cellars of Château de Meursault on the Côte de Beaune as well as organic wine tasting at the Domaine de la Monette or even participating in the grape harvest at the Château de Pommard. A vast selection to choose from!
