The Burgundy truffle
At the departure point of the route de la truffe in the Côte-d’Or, La Maison aux Mille Truffes by L'Or des Valois invites you to explore the world of truffles. This experience begins in the park to discover the work of digging with the dogs, and learning about the past of this exceptional product. A boutique enables you to leave with a basket full of truffle- related products, and fresh truffles when in season. Finally, at lunchtime, a restau- rant invites you to relish delicious Burgundy dishes with truffles.

A great wine
The ground floor of La Vinothèque, the town's oldest wine merchant, is rather like a boutique selling table accessories and local gastronomy products. You in fact have to descend to the large vaulted cellars to discover the treasures of La Vinothèque. Wines from La Côte Beaunoise and Côte Chalonnaise, large renowned estates such as Romanée Conti, champagnes, sparkling wines... a real library on the subject of wine for enthusiasts. A benchmark wine merchant!

Ham with parsley
Ham with parsley is a speciality in Burgundy where it was made way back in the 14th century, for Easter festivities. It is made with slightly salty ham (salty, if the pig was killed in mid-winter), pork shoulder and persil jelly, all cooked in a stock with white wine (preferably from Burgundy), mustard and wine vinegar. A recipe perfectly mastered by Eddy Raillard, star of cold meats in the region around Beaune. A gourmet pause is a must, especially as the Charcuterie's other products (knuckles of ham, brawn, pâté in pastry, rabbit pâté etc.) are equally remarkable.
