The weekend is here and with it the opportunity to have a well earned lie in and leisurely breakfast in your room for a gentle start to the day. Delicious pastries, breads and cereals, homemade jams, fresh fruit, cheeses and cured meats, hot drinks. Something for every taste.
Take an easy bike ride into the heart of the town and discover all the treasures of the capital of Burgundy wines. Make sure you visit the famous Hospice as well as its Notre-Dame Basilica without forgetting the fascinating “Musée de la Moutarderie Fallot”.
Within no distance from there, the “Parc de la Bouzaize” is the ideal spot for a picnic. The Hostellerie Cèdre & Spa will see to everything and assemble the perfect picnic hamper for you, full of delicious local specialities accompanied by an excellent bottle of wine.
Once restored, it’s time to set off to visit the world renowned villages of the Côte de Beaune (Volnay, Meursault, Montrachet, etc), each steeped in its own secrets. Your trip will take you through stunning landscapes, typical of the Bourguignonne countryside.
Back at the hotel, there’s nothing better than to relax in the Spa NUXE. After a day full of adventures, the Kashmir massage is ideal to rid you of tensions and fatigue thanks, in part, to the use of hot water bottles. To make the moment perfect, take a bath in the private jacuzzi.
You don’t need to go far for dinner since the gastronomic restaurant at the Hostellerie Cèdre & Spa is one of the best in Beaune. An ideal opportunity to discover or rediscover the wealth of flavours Bourguignonne cooking has to offer thanks to the Chef Jordan Billan’s gourmet dishes. Difficult to choose though between the Menu Création, Menu Tradition and Menu Dégustation.
Once the meal is over, prolong your evening in the Lounge Bar. Settle comfortably into one of the leather Clubhouse armchairs for a digestif or hot drink before returning to you room and having a heavenly night’s sleep.
